▲ The Dewey 24 Hour Read-a-Thon: Wrap Up
So, the readathon is over and done with. I think I might have read for 8 hours total? Something like that. As I've said before, I didn't prepare as much as last time, since I forgot and went away this weekend, but I still did manage to read a little bit.
Kunskapens frukt - Liv Strömquist(graphic novel about periods, vaginas and such lovley things)
När kejsaren var gudomlig (When the Emperor was Divine) - Julie Otsuka (adult novel, japanese history)
En utflykt - Ida Jessen (short story / Novellix)
Speciella omständigheter - John Ajvide Lindqvist (short story / Novellix)
Vad det såg ut som - Helena von Zweigbergk (short story / Novellix)
so, I read 3 short stories, the rest of a graphic novel (more than half) and most of the Julie Otsukas novel (which I finished the same day (sunday) but after the actual readathon-time). I liked all of the texts I read, and I definitely recommend you to read Julie Otsuka. She is a wonderful writer and storyteller.
How was your readathon experience? What did you read? For how long did you manage to read?
